Look I know the history behind stuff is boring but I'm only going to be talking a bit about the origins but don't worry the rest is going to be how people found out that emotions can be transferred into art and the backstoy of the different styles.

Let's talk about origins first so some of the origins of art can be traced back to the Prehistoric era, the extensive time period before humans created writing systems. The earliest artifacts come from the Paleolithic era, or the Old Stone Age, in the form of rock carvings, engravings, pictorial imagery, sculptures, and stone arrangements. Now that we got the origins out let's talk about when people started using emotions in art. If you journey through the Renaissance period, you'll notice that artists began to explore emotions in a more complex way. They started to portray not just physical, but also the emotional and psychological aspects. Some of the old art styles can be found in them to such as Impressionism it emerged in France in the late 19th century it centered around the depiction of landscapes to capture their subject's immediate impression. Another one was Baroque or Baroquism it's a Western style it flourished from the early 17th century until the 1750s.
